The HC-SR04 sensor module has a performance, stable and accurate distance measurement structure. Although its performance is comparable to other ultrasonic distance measurement modules, distance measurements are almost the same. The module offers high sensitivity and a near super feature as a blind spot (2cm). You can reach sample projects related to the HC-SR04 sensor via the Otto Robot Project and the 2WD Robot Car Project Avoiding Obstacles, and you can do such projects using ultrasonic sensors.

How Does the Module Work?

Using the IO trigger distance, at least 10us high signal
The module automatically sends eight 40khz square waves, automatically detects whether there is a signal return;
A signal back, a high electrical level with IO output, high electrical level time: ultrasound time to return from launch.

Distance Measurement = (Time of electricity level * speed of sound (340 M/S)) / 2
