Fira is an organization founded on robot football activities. We can express it as the competition of robots in an area where some robotic technologies are combined.
In fact, this international robotics federation organization offers a competitive environment for young people and researchers who do research on mobile robotic systems and develop themselves in the field of robotics. We can say that these activities, which started under the name FIRA in 1996 and were later named FIRA Robot World Cup, were led by the international robotics federation, the work of the young generation on robotic projects on robotics.

This approach has led to developments on autonomous systems in multi-robot environments.
Scientists investigating multi-robot autonomous systems have sought to establish a model based on existing theories to improve tests on efficiency and work in autonomous environments. This caused them to start adapting football, which acts in accordance with the spirit of teamwork, to this model in autonomous systems.

Thus was born the Micro Robot Wold Cup Football Tournament (MiroSot), and a new interdisciplinary research area has emerged that includes scientists and technologists from various fields such as robotics, intelligent control, communications, computer technology, sensor technology, image processing, mechatronics.
